The French Vanilla Goat Milk bar soap recipe is a palm-free and vegan cold process soap recipe featuring a combination of almond oil and cocoa and shea butters for a moisturizing bar with creamy goat milk for a luxurious lather. This recipe is sulphate-free, paraben-free, & preservative-free.
Tutorial with step by step instructions included. This is an intermediate level recipe. If you have never used milk for soap-making, familiarize yourself with the process before attempting this recipe.
Intended for use with Vanilla Bean fragrance oil that captures the natural, rich, warm and inviting scent of fresh vanilla bean.
Recipe as written is intended for 3lb mold, but is provided with percentages so it can be adapted to different mold sizes.
For best results, bars made with this recipe should be cured for 6 weeks and stored on a dish with good drainage between uses.
This recipe can be used with other fragrances or essential oils, but it is the responsibility of the user to ensure safe usage rates, the use of skin-safe scents and scents that work in cold process soap.
